About

Sandra Pucci

Sandra was born in Italy and gained her first Psychology qualifications there. While in Italy she practised in a number of environments including hospitals, private clinics and adoption.

Migrating to Australia almost a decade ago, she studied English and worked in adoption and permanent care and gambling addiction counselling; then she gained an Australian Masters in Clinical Psychology after which she went on to work in a number of community and private clinical settings.

Sandra’s therapeutic aim is to work collaboratively with her clients to enable them to have access to their best resources.

Sandra uses a number of interventions, including a psychodynamic framework, which explores past relationships and experiences, but tailors it to the specific needs of her clients.

When deemed appropriate, best practice evidence based therapies and short-term approaches may be chosen.

This team-work makes it possible to identify and achieve prominent goals, thus enhancing the client’s sense of well being.
